making summer plans with the friends i love. showing everyone what i am capable of doing. showing off what my momma gave me. enjoying the simple pleasures in life. tanning and getting questioned as to what ethnicity i am. learning how to cook. exercising and doing the sports i love. meeting new people. dancing all night long. traveling with friends. learning new things at rotations and work. smiling at customers. learning “new” languages. eating and drinking to my heart’s content. appreciating life, what i have, and who i am.

i have no need for lavish gifts or a thousand dollar chef’s tasting menu. i can buy them myself. if only i had a significant other, the perfect date would consist of burgers, fries, pickles, and milkshakes by the candlelight at sunset with a view of the city i was born in and love.
